Exciting Announcement

 The Olde Essex Stage Company is excited to be making a big announcement.

More than two years ago, we were approached with an incredible opportunity.  The leadership of the former First Universalist Society, a historic church in the heart of downtown Salem, asked us to help them transform their church building into a performance space worthy of the Witch City.

In the two years since, we have worked diligently with our new partners to overcome a myriad of legal, administrative, and logistical hurdles and I am so happy to announce that The Salem Playhouse is now officially open.
